Alice and Medair

Continuing her collaboration with Medair to raise funds for Syrian refugees in need, Alice will perform the first series of concerts organized by Medair in the USA in Malibu and Orange County, California on September 12 and 13.

Performance with clarinetist Eduard Brunner

As a participant of the Encuentro de Música y Academia de Santander, Alice performed F. Poulenc Clarinet Sonata with clarinetist Eduard Brunner in the Palacio de Festivales de Santander in Spain.

Concerts with Medair

In the first week of June, Alice joined Swiss-based humanitarian agency Medair once again in a project to raise funds to supply clean water, shelter, nutritional support and healthcare for Syrian refugee children in need by performing a series of concerts in Lausanne, Aubonne, and Pully, Switzerland.

Recital in Auditorio Ciudad de León

On May 14, Alice performed in the Auditorio Ciudad de León in León, Spain.

Concert with Maxim Vengerov

On December 17, 2014, Alice had the honor of performing her UK debut solo recital presented by violinist Maxim Vengerov at the Belsize Square Synagogue in London. It was broadcasted live and at the end of the concert, Alice, together with Maxim and the Synagogue’s Rabbi Stuart Altshuler, performed J.S. Bach’s Concerto for 2 Violins in D Minor!

ABOUT

21 year old Alice Burla, called an "extraordinary talent" by the New York Times, is quickly becoming internationally recognized as a serious musician and very talented pianist. She was one of the youngest students ever accepted to The Juilliard School and has been awarded the 2013 American Prize and 1st prize at the Canadian National Music Competition, among other honors.

Alice has participated in major international festivals such as the Verbier Festival Academy, International Summer Academy Mozarteum, Encuentro de Música y Academia de Santander, Tel Hai International Piano Master Classes, Paderewski Piano Academy, Hamamatsu International Piano Academy, and International Piano Master Classes in Berlin, and has worked with renowned musicians such as Dmitri Alexeev, Gabor Tákacs ­- Nagy, Piotr Paleczny, Andrzej Jasinski, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Sergei Babayan, Ferenc Rados, and Tatiana Zelikman. Alice currently studies with Dmitri Bashkirov at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid.
